The technical workshops aim to build the capacity of technicians with the help of mentors experienced in handling various types of transmission and studio equipment. Participants are encouraged to grasp the theory of, and have hands-on practice in, repairing and maintaining transmission and studio equipment. The equipment for the practical sessions is provided at the workshop.

Technical internships are for classes of up to four people. Offering hands-on practice with transmission and studio equipment, this program is more intensive than the larger, in-class workshops. The one-week internships in Jakarta are supervised by PPMN technical instructors.
